Snow Day!

Wyatt loves to play with his puppy dog, Kota. He is fascinated by her many tricks and he loves to pet her! Kota has been very patient as Wyatt grabs her whiskers, pets her face and pokes at her! They are definitely good buds!



On Wednesday we had 22 inches of snow and a family snow day! Few things are more fun on a Wednesday than a day spent in your pjs, eating pancakes, watching movies, napping and snuggling up with the family - especially when you are supposed to be at work! Here are a couple of pictures from our fun day at home!

Our Little Reader

Wyatt is at such a fun age! He is sitting up and really interacting with his toys. He loves to grab for anything you're holding and everything goes directly to his mouth. Here he is reading a book. He absolutely loves the Sandra Boynton book Blue Hat, Green Hat and he laughs hysterically whenever we say "oops"! We are having problems getting our video camera set up on our Mac, but as soon as we figure everything out we will put up a video of his contagious laugh! It's becoming more and more like his daddy's giggle!

Wyatt is 6 months old now and weighs just over 16 pounds! You will find it hard to believe that he is only in the 25% for weight! He's not a very tall guy - so it makes for lots of good rolls! Wyatt loves to pull on his toes, play with his toys, grab everything in sight - hair, lips, hoodie strings, and remotes and he loves to scream and growl! He really likes watching Kota, his puppy, as she plays with her toys and whips her towel around. He is full of personality and we love hearing him laugh. It's hard to believe that our little guy is already 6 months old!

Here's a picture from Wyatt's dedication on February 21st. Pastor Philip and the Praise Band made the service incredibly personal and we loved being able to celebrate with so many friends and family!

Bren's Birthday

Brendan turned 29 last weekend and we spent Saturday morning out to breakfast with his mom and grandma and grandpa. Bren and Grandpa Merrill share the same birthday - it was Merrill's 91st birthday! Here's a four generation picture taken that morning to celebrate. We are hoping to get four generation pictures of each family soon!

Big Boy Alert!

Wyatt has been eating solid foods now for a couple of weeks. He has mastered the nasty rice cereal and is much more excited about sweet potatoes and applesauce! With this new accomplishment, we decided it was time to post some pictures of the progression.
