Memorial Day

Our most recent cousin picture!

Snuggling with Uncle Quinn

We must have a dozen pictures of us in this spot with friends and family, it's fun to get our first picture in this spot with Wyatt!

We spent Memorial Day with the Hornecker side of the family at our cabin in Allenspark. It was such a busy and fun-filled weekend, that it was nice to spend Monday with the entire family relaxing at the cabin. Bren, Wyatt and I took a drive through Black Hawk, to Nederland and into the cabin - a new drive for all of us. On our way in to Allenspark we even saw some Alpine Sheep. All of the cousins took a trip down The Crevase - a hike we used to take as kids. We all realized that the trip was a lot easier with our dads and uncles lowering us down to another adult. Now that I'm a mom, I had a heck of a time being brave during this, annoying all of my cousins, by telling them to lean towards the mountain and watch their step! It was a great day, with surprise . . . a ton of great food!

  1. 'Twas another wonderful day in the mountains, with family and food. Thanks for sharing the photos and story. Always good to see the cousins all together and so rare anymore that everyone in the Hornecker family can all be together for an entire day. Love, Mama Lynn
